Upon entering the sacred realm of Valhalla she- Freydis Eiríksdóttir-  heard the rumblings of the male crew.  They were fearful that the Gods themselves would take revenge for entering.  Freydis then set fire to their ship and turned to the crew, grasping her sword, and then made clear there was no going back and that she was prepared to deal with any who disagreed.
