My flight to Hawaii was disrupted somehow. The next thing I knew, the air masks dropped from the ceiling, and I was thrust backward into my seat. It all happened so fast.

The next thing I knew, I awoke on a sandy beach, drenched from head to toe. Burning debris lay scattered around me. For the few seconds I remained awake, I didn't see anyone around me.
