2017 * SL PORN * GROUP MOVIE AWARDS

As I stated back at the end of February, 2017 * SL PORN * GROUP MOVIE AWARDS were going expand The Golden Cock Awards to all of  * SL Porn * Group. The reason we picked * SL Porn * Group instead of just ALL of Second Life was because we already have set in place Notice recaps and Movies embedded in the blog, so there is no debate over whether a movie is eligible in the given year or not and instead of nominating your movies your posting of a notice in group makes you movie eligiable. 

No panel of Judges, instead every director gets a voting card, so the winners are pick by their peepers.

We will have 3 categories of movies (short, mid and long) and select best movie and best directors for each category. I never found it fair for a short music video size movie to be compared to a long story type movie. 

There will be many more categories, but keep in mind we don't want so many we spend all day passing out awards to everyone. This will be movies only, just like the golden cocks in the past.

The reason for this post is very simple, each year I have directors and actors coming to me and asking how they can be in it, and in the past I would have to say "You had to be in my movie" or Zoey's movie or Erin's movie. But that's not the case this year it is so simple, this year "The director needs to post a notice with a link to the movie in *SL Porn * group before Midnight SLT on December 31st 2016." That's it!!!!

Now having read Kat's Beaver's Digest in the Dog Star blog I can see that only about 60% of the movies made are getting notices posted in * SL PORN * Group by there director. Ok, that's fine no one is forcing anyone to join the group and post notices, I'm not trying to twist any arms here. But I know just before the awards take place in February I will have actresses, actors and even directors asking me how to get in the awards or why there weren't nominated and in most cases the answer will be "Your director didn't post a notice with a link to the movie in *SL Porn * group before Midnight SLT on December 31st 2016."

So what I'm trying to do right here, right now is to forewarn those directors not in the group or lazy about making notices, that if they want to take part in this years awards or want their actors or actresses to take part in the awards, they only have around 18 days left to get those notices posted!!  If they did a movie in 2016 that they want in the awards they need to post a notice for it in the * SL PORN * Group to be eligible. If they don't care because they hate awards then don't worry about it!!

If your movie did have a notice made it should be listed here: MOVIES and no need for another notice.
